How it works

First, we work with students to create a targeted list of potential mentors and a tailored outreach strategy.

Potential mentors could include writers at the New York Times, coders at Google, sports broadcasters at ESPN, or anybody that sparks your child’s interest!

Here is what we do next:

Step 1

We develop the student's LinkedIn profile and solidify their resume.

Step 2

We reach out to potential mentors on their behalf.

Step 3

We reply and schedule the virtual calls. They appear on the student's google calendar.

Step 4

The student forms organic relationships from experts in their desired field.

How many mentor calls can be scheduled?

As many as you would like! Anywhere from one per week to one per month is recommended.

Why can’t we just do this ourselves?

You absolutely could. Our biggest value is in saving you time and energy! Although we would say that students tend to get better results with us due to the customized outreach and well built profiles.

Do you guarantee internships or college acceptances?

No. But we can say that the more real world exposure students have to navigate increasingly complex career paths the more likely they will be to attain their goals.

Is this expensive?

Compared to the investment of time and money in college, the return from working with us is unrivaled. This investment will yield enormous dividends in both the short and long term.

How do you help students prepare for the calls?

Before every call, students will receive a document outlining the person's background and suggested questions to help guide the conversation.

Zain Yaqub is a serial entrepreneur and investor with a passion for creating and growing businesses through online marketing. Zain has founded and sold two successful startups. In 2019, he co-founded Advisor Appointments, a financial services marketing company that helped over 200 clients grow their revenues through lead generation strategies.

The company was acquired by Next Stage Ventures in 2021. After that, he founded ThinkFISH, a capital-raising platform that connected startups and private equity funds with investors, using his large network and digital marketing skills. ThinkFISH worked with hundreds of clients globally and had a team of 40+ people.
